The concept for this blog sprang from our real-life experiences as first-time Mums. We had those idealist dreams when pregnant; we read the parenting manuals when struggling with babies whose lives were measured in days (or even hours!) rather than weeks and we ‘googled’ everything from spew to poo in the first few months and still we ended up in tears a fair few times! Yes, we’d been to antenatal classes; we’d read books; we’d joined websites but still it was chatting to other Mums in coffee shops, at mother and baby groups and in parks which had really given us the gems of advice and wisdom which helped us through the darkest times. We hope this blog will make you laugh, maybe make you cry but definitely leave you feeling more informed and most of all not alone.
